Runners carrying fatigue from training into an event; this is something which I see on a regular basis.
Longer training runs need more time to recover from than shorter more intense training runs.
In this video I share some thoughts on workout placement and training block structure for longer distance events. 🏃
This is relevant for any event which is likely to last more that about 3 hours.
